We will\nonce again pr ovide London with the answer to that burning question\nwho really does the best wings?  On the 25th\, 26th and 27th\nof July at London Stadium\, in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park\,\ncompetitors from across the UK will work t heir culinary magic in a\nbid to be crowned the King or Queen of the Wing. \nWing Fest will see 45 contestants\, and 90 types of wings\, battle\nit o ut in three fiercely contested categories:\nBest Buffalo Wing\nDescribed i n the North American dictionary\, from where this\nmighty morsel hales\, a s "Deep-fried wings coated in a spicy sauce."\nOf course to those in the k now\, this description simply doesn’t do\nthis wonderful creation justice and the search for the best out\nthere is fiercely contested across the wo rld.\nBest Wild Wing\nThis category is looking to explore and demonstrate the many\nexciting ways a chicken wing can be prepared and served in the\n broadest sense possible. In this category anything goes. Any\nflavour\, an y technique\, any taste. Basically the rule is\, there are\nno rules.\nBes t BBQ Wing\nThis all time classic flavour deserves its own category\, whic h\nwe introduced in 2023. Experts in this distinguished field use\neveryth ing from fire\, smoke\, fry and bake\, not to mention\nincredible sauce re cipes that are often handed down from generation\nto generation. This is a big category and very popular.\n\nThe culinary warriors battling it out i n 2026 are a mixture of\nstreet food vendors\, pop up legends\, BBQ teams and restaurants from\nall over the UK.\nAll wings will be sold in individu al joints drums or flats at\n£1.50 each to allow voters to try as many win gs as possible from\neach of the contestants.\nFor the greediest of wing e aters among you\, the incredibly\npopular Wing Eating Competition will aga in be taking place on\nall 3 event days.\nThe deadly Lava Wing Challenge w hich is the hottest in the world\nis guaranteed to cause carnage is also t aking place on all 3\ndays.\nSign up for both competitions will be on the day at the main\nstage.
