 SharedGenes and the Event organisers may process information supplied thro
 ugh registration or participation\, including your name\, contact details\
 , company or university\, professional profiles\, application answers\, su
 bmitted projects and judging results\, where reasonably necessary to admin
 ister the Event\, communicate with participants\, operate judging\, mainta
 in safety and fulfil prizes.\nLimited participant information may be share
 d with judges\, sponsors\, the venue and service providers where reasonabl
 y necessary for those purposes and in accordance with applicable data-prot
 ection law. Where consent is required\, marketing communications will be s
 ent only with that consent. You can opt out of marketing at any time. Ques
 tions or objections about use of your data can be sent to the Event hosts 
 through Luma.\nProjects\, Health Information and Responsible Use\nDo not u
 se confidential information\, identifiable patient information or real per
 sonal health data in a submission unless you have a lawful basis\, all req
 uired permissions and appropriate safeguards. Participants should use synt
 hetic\, properly anonymised or authorised data wherever possible.\nProject
 s and demonstrations created during the Event are prototypes for education
 al and judging purposes. They must not be presented as medical advice\, di
 agnosis or treatment\, and must not be used for clinical decision-making w
 ithout appropriate professional review\, validation and regulatory complia
 nce.\nParticipants are responsible for complying with applicable laws\, li
 cences\, platform terms\, API terms and third-party rights.\nConduct and S
 afety\nParticipants must behave respectfully and must not engage in harass
 ment\, discrimination\, intimidation\, unsafe conduct or unlawful activity
 . The Event organisers may refuse entry or remove anyone whose conduct thr
 eatens the safety\, wellbeing or fair participation of others.\nIntellectu
 al Property\nIntellectual-property rights in prototypes\, code\, designs\,
  documentation and other outputs created by participants remain with the r
 elevant participant or team. Each participant is responsible for ensuring 
 that their work is original or properly licensed and does not infringe ano
 ther person’s rights.\nParticipants grant SharedGenes\, the Event organise
 rs and sponsors a non-exclusive\, royalty-free permission to display the p
 articipant’s name\, team name\, project title and submitted demo solely fo
 r judging\, Event reporting and promotion of the Event\, while ownership r
 emains with the participant or team.\nJudging and Prizes\nJudging decision
 s are final. Prizes are subject to eligibility\, availability and any addi
 tional terms imposed by the relevant prize provider. A prize provider may 
 require reasonable identity\, eligibility\, tax or payment information bef
 ore fulfilment. Winners are responsible for any taxes or charges arising f
 rom a prize. If a stated non-cash prize becomes unavailable\, the relevant
  prize provider may substitute an item or benefit of comparable value.\nRi
 sk and Liability\nParticipants attend and take part at their own risk and 
 are responsible for their own belongings\, equipment\, travel and personal
  wellbeing. To the fullest extent permitted by law\, SharedGenes\, the Eve
 nt organisers\, venue\, sponsors and service providers are not responsible
  for indirect loss\, loss of opportunity\, theft or damage arising from pa
 rticipation in the Event. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that c
 annot lawfully be excluded\, including liability for death or personal inj
 ury caused by negligence\, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.\nChanges
 \, Cancellation and Governing Law\nSharedGenes and the Event organisers ma
 y reasonably change the schedule\, speakers\, format\, venue\, judging arr
 angements or prizes\, or postpone or cancel the Event where necessary. Mat
 erial changes will be communicated through Luma where practicable.\nThese 
 Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales\, and t
 he courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.\nSharedGe
 nes may update these Terms and Conditions before the Event. The version pu
