 a community that grew out of entertainment professionals writing and conne
 cting on Substack – people using the platform not just to publish\, but to
  think out loud about the industry\, the work\, and where things are heade
 d.\nThose online conversations eventually spilled into the real world.\nFi
 lmStack Los Angeles is a monthly meetup for anyone in film\, TV\, and the 
 broader entertainment economy – from established professionals to new crea
 tives still cutting their teeth. Writers\, producers\, directors\, executi
 ves\, assistants\, editors\, and digital creators are all welcome.\nWhat t
 o expect:\nConversations with people who actually work in (or are seriousl
 y pursuing) entertainment\nDiscussion about projects\, careers\, fundraisi
 ng and the NonDē ecosystem\nDrinks\, conversation\, and a chance to feel c
 onnected again\nThe last few FilmStack LA meetups have been brand-sponsore
 d\, with partners providing free food and drinks (up to a cap)\, and we’re
  actively working toward larger sponsorships and more brand involvement go
 ing into 2026.\nMeetups currently take place at an outdoor bar in Highland
  Park\, Los Angeles\, with plans to eventually move into a dedicated priva
