 rve out and call ours.\nFor Alexis Clukey\, hatmaker and founder of Wander
  Wild\, that space took a decade to find. From marketing hats\, to an appr
 enticeship that felt like coming home to herself\, to a South Austin studi
 o where every hat is shaped\, blocked\, and built one at a time.\nAbout th
 e gathering\nJoin us for an intimate In The Studio session at Alexis's Wan
 der Wild studio.\nThis is an intentionally small gathering for Austin-base
 d makers and artisan founders. A chance to see Alexis's space\, hear her s
 tory\, and reflect together on where art meets business and what it means 
 to build a business that's an extension of you\, not just what you sell.\n
 What to expect\nThis 2-hour weekend event is open-house style: explore the
  space (Alexis' home and studio)\, see how custom hats are built from scra
 tch\, and meet fellow founders and artisans. We'll gather toward the end f
 or a lightly facilitated conversation about creative integrity\, what luxu
 ry actually means (hint: it's not the price point!)\, and the mindset of b
 uilding with patrons rather than manufacturing for customers.\nSmall bites
  and drinks will be shared.\nTo capture the energy of the event and Alexis
 's studio\, there will be some light photography so we can share with the 
 broader artist and creative founder scene in our city.\nAbout Alexis' work
 \nAfter apprenticing with TROVADOR Customs and leading hatmaking at Ballad
  of the Bird Dog in Brenham\, Texas\, Alexis started Wander Wild. She draw
 s inspiration from the cosmic magic of the West Texas deserts\nAll of Alex
 is's hats are handmade and one of a kind. Each piece is an act of craft an
 d tradition\, shaped to the person as much as the design\, so the wearer b
 ecomes part of the canvas.\nInvesting in a Wander Wild hat is investing in
  a maker\, a relationship\, and a tradition worth keeping alive. Not to me
 ntion a hat that will last a lifetime.\nWhy we're doing this\nAustin has a
