 ollowed by Q&A. Led by trumpeter Kris Johnson and featuring multi-Grammy v
 ocalist and NEA Jazz Master Dee Dee Bridgewater\, this year’s big band bri
 ngs together the top young jazz players from around the USA and kicks off 
 their tour of Asia with a one-time-only performance at the SFJAZZ Center.\
 n\nSFJAZZ Open Soundchecks are exclusive\, behind-the-scenes\, and often f
 ree experiences where the public watches artists prepare for evening conce
 rts at the Miner Auditorium. These sessions\, synonymous with "pre-concert
  rehearsals\," offer insights into the technical setup\, sound balancing\,
  and collaboration involved in a performance\, typically ending with a Q&A
