 nAmerican Gangster\, 2007\, Ridley Scott\n\nCheck the links above to see a
 vailability on streaming platforms. They are also available in libraries/m
 edia libraries.\n\nEstimated duration of the debate: approximately 2 hours
 .\n\nGENERAL RULES (Pricing and pass policy\, Debate/discussion flow\, Can

 "About / What we're about" section.\nKnowledge of these rules is a mandato
 ry requirement to attend the activity.\n\nSPECIFIC RULES FOR THIS EVENT\n\
 n1. Each attendee must have watched the films featured in the event on the
 ir own.\n2. It is required to purchase at least one drink or item at the v
 enue.\n3. If a quorum of FIVE or more people is not reached\, the activity
  may be canceled\, by prior agreement among the registered members and wit
 h at least 24 hours' notice.\n4. If you are not going to attend\, please c
 ancel your RSVP well in advance so that someone else can take your place.\
 n\n(THE FOLLOWING IS HISTORICAL INFORMATION. IT NO LONGER APPLIES)\nDETAIL
 S AND HOW THE ACTIVITY WORKS\nThe "SESIÓN DOBLE" film club activity is a m
 onthly event where event attendees choose the movies to watch! It is manag
 ed using the NUEVAS PROPUESTAS tab of the proposed movies spreadsheet. The
 se are the rules:\n\n1. MOVIE PROPOSALS: Only attendees confirmed for the 
 activity (not those on the waiting list) may add new proposals to the spre
 adsheet. There is no limit to the number of movies each attendee can propo
 se. Each proposal entered in the spreadsheet must specify the Title (with 
 a link to Filmaffinity)\, Year\, Director\, and Sponsor of the proposal. M
 ovies of any genre (including animation and documentaries) and in any orig
 inal language may be proposed.\n2. VOTING OPENS: Attendees confirmed for t
 he activity can vote as soon as the previous month's "SESIÓN DOBLE" event 
 has concluded. Each attendee can vote for as many movies as they want (no 
 limit)\, as long as THEY ARE NOT THEIR OWN PROPOSALS (you cannot vote for 
 yourself).\n3. VOTING CLOSES: Voting will close a couple of weeks before t
 he event. In the event of a tie between movies\, the movie that was propos
 ed first will win.\n4. Once voting is closed and the 2 winning movies are 
 known\, it is mandatory for the sponsors of the 2 winning movies to attend
  the event (if they were signed up for it). If any of them eventually has 
 to cancel\, they must send me an email explaining the unexpected circumsta
 nce (it doesn't need to be a force majeure\, but reasonable enough to just
 ify not attending).\n5. Each participant will watch the 2 chosen movies on
  their own (via streaming\, libraries\, media libraries\, cinemas\, etc.) 
 and we will discuss them during the event.\n\nEstimated duration of the de
 bate: approximately 2 hours.\n\nWe look forward to seeing you!
