 \n\nWe're very excited to announce PyLadies Zurich's first hands-on worksh
 op!\n\nHave you ever thought of contributing to a Python-based open source
  project? Maybe you've wanted to do this for years\, but you didn't know h
 ow to get started? Then this workshop has you covered. Together\, we will 
 learn how to contribute to Django\, the well-known Python web framework. W
 e will focus on contributing code and documentation\, but we will show you
  other ways to contribute\, such as translations and event organizing\, to
 o.\n\nDuring the workshop\, we will set up our development environment by 
 installing Django's development version and running Django's test suite. W
 e will go through the git and GitHub workflows involved when working on a 
 Django ticket. We will familiarize ourselves with Django's ticket system a
 nd learn strategies for finding a suitable ticket to work on.\n\nBy the en
 d of the workshop\, you will know how to start contributing code and docum
 entation to Django\, and you will know about Django's communication channe
 ls and where you can ask for help.\n\nThe workshop will take place in the 
 reading room (Lesesaal) of Zentralbibliothek Zürich. The venue is wheelcha
