 nDESCRIPTION\nThis walk is on paths less travelled over South Downs rollin
 g hills with fantastic views along the way. There is an optional sea swim 
 at the end for those who want to cool off after a good day’s walk.\n\nFrom
  the small town of Berwick nestled on the foot of the South Downs and home
  to the Bloomsbury painted church - to the sea for a swim at the wide Seaf
 ord Bay - its a promising day a of a mix of woodlands\, arable fields\, wi
 ld flowers\, ancient hill carvings\, climbs and remote paths.\n\nHIGHLIGHT
 \nWe will be walking from Berwick to Bishopstone and discovering:\n\nAn ar
 tistic church painted by the 1960’s Bloomsbury Group\nSeeing and sitting o
 n top of the Long Man of Wilmington with stupendous views\nThe smallest ch
 urch in the Sussex\nA quaint riverside pub for a well earned refreshment o
 n Cuckmere River\nGetting up close to the White Horse carved into the hill
 side\nWalking on off-the-beaten-paths with wild plants\, blackberries and 
 buzzing insects\nOptional sea swim in magnificent Seaford bay.\n\nDESCRIPT
 ION\nThis is a beautiful part of Sussex\, with fantastic views\, quaint vi
 llages and pubs\, rolling hills and ancient hill carvings.\n\nThe morning 
 will be filled with meandering over arable fields\, visiting a stunning ch
 urch and sitting on top of the Long Man of Wilmington for great views (whe
 re we will have a picnic lunch).\n\nAs we meander into the afternoon\, we 
 follow the contours of the downs\, viisit Sussex’s smallest church\, go do
 wn to the river for a well earned pub stop before we head over the hills o
 n remote paths for a sea swim at Bishopstone at Seaford Bay.\n\nps. My wal
 ks make time to enjoy the views\, take in local history\, and look at inte
 resting buildings along the way.\n\nPROGRAMME\nYou can choose to meet at L

 r with various travel/ arrival times if we don’t make this train.\n\nHIKE
