 r\, we're doing it again in August 🎈😊\n\nThe theme for this event is TBD -
  let me know your ideas by comments @thoughtexperimentsinpubs\n\nWe will e
 xplore the theme by way of three thought experiments (tiny stories that ra
 ise big questions)\, posted on our substack on the day of the event (more 
 info on how it all works below).\n\nWe love meeting in Regents Park becaus
 e it has lots of beautiful big trees that provide shade during heatwaves\,
  and shelter during downpours.\nHere is the \\EXACT LOCATION \\and here is
  a little video showing how to get there from the Gloucester Gate entrance
  to Regent's park (more directions below if you need them).\n\n---\n\nThe 
 idea: A chance to meet and get straight into meaningful conversations - bo
 th deep and light are welcome!\n\nHow we'll do it (timings approximate):\n
 \n3:00pm - Meet in the park (exact location)\nOrganise ourselves into smal
 l groups (3-6ish)\nHave a look at the thought experiments (posted on our S
 ubstack on the day of the event).\n3:15pm - First rotation begins - Talk a
 bout the first thought experiment. Feel free to let your conversations flo
 w organically and wander off topic. If you'd like to bring things back\, y
 ou have several 'questions to consider' that you can suggest to the group.
 \n3:40pm - Shuffle: swap groups\, move on to the second thought experiment
 .\n4:10pm - Shuffle: swap groups\, move on to the third thought experiment
 .\n4:40pm - Votes! (optional\, unscientific votes to get a sense of the gr
 oup's opinions)\n5:00 - Organised meetup ‘ends’. Party continues!\n\nNotes
  on the general atmosphere:\n\nThe vibe is to let conversation flow rather
  than stick strictly to one topic.\nWhile we'd like to talk about 'meaning
 ful things'\, we also see the value in lighter topics\, so don't worry abo
 ut not being 'deep' enough!\nFeel free to suggest ideas for future Thought
  Experiments in Pubs meetup groups\, both in terms of structure and topics
  to discuss.\n\nWho should come:\nEveryone! We believe that the more persp
 ectives\, the richer the conversation. This group is not about being exper
 ts in Philosophy\, it is about doing philosophy. That is\, bringing our va
 rious life experiences and lenses on the world to group discussions about 
 the human experience\, the nature of reality... etc. etc....\n\nWhat to br

 ster Gate. Take the path to the left. You will see a coffee kiosk on your 
 right. Immediately beyond that\, there is a little dirt path on the left. 
 Take the little dirt path and follow it across a small ditch and onto a bi
 g lawn. Walk straight across the lawn\, away from the park entrance\, abou
 t 50 meters and you will find us.\nIf you are coming from any other direct

  be easy to spot!\nI have chosen this spot because there is lots of shade.
