 for a special LoMAZ trip to see Mozart’s “Haffner” Symphony at the BBC 202
 6 Proms...\n\nThe Academy of St Martin in the Fields spotlights the French
  horn and bassoon in two concertos: one classic\, one contemporary. The in
 k is still wet on veteran Scottish composer Thea Musgrave’s new Bassoon Co
 ncerto\, ‘Out of the Darkness’\, receiving its world premiere. Mozart’s go
 od-natured Horn Concerto No. 3 ends with a rollicking Allegro that’s hard 
 to resist. There are more dancing rhythms from Britten’s playful Simple Sy
 mphony – based on themes written by the composer before the age of 12.\n\n
