 We’ll start off at Biggby Coffee (309 West Lakee).\nThen we’ll take a casu
 al stroll along the riverwalk to see various noteworthy points\, stopping 
 along the way to admire the architecture.\nIt’s 2.5 miles roundtrip.\nPlea
 se note that this is an in-person event\, not an online/virtual program ov
 er Zoom.\n\n\n\nThe Chicago Riverwalk is a multi-use public open space loc
 ated on the south bank of the main branch of the Chicago River in Chicago\
 , extending from Lake Michigan and the Outer Drive Bridge westward to the 
 Wolf Point area and Lake Street. The Chicago Riverwalk contains restaurant
 s\, bars\, cafes\, small parks\, boat and kayak rentals\, a Vietnam War me
 morial\, and other amenities.\nThe 1.25-mile long path has been constructe
 d in phases over time and includes four distinct districts\; The Confluenc
 e\, The Arcade\, The Civic\, and the Esplanade. The Chicago River is a tre
 asured natural amenity in the urban canyon of world famous architecture an
 d the Chicago RiverwaIk allows a close proximity to the waterway. The cont
 inuous path from Lake Street to the lake front also allows a vertical conn
 ection from Upper Wacker Drive down to the waterway.\n\n\n\nEvent Details

 ng a fedora-style hat) along with a group of friendly people. We’ll depart
  on our walk at approximately 8:45 am.\n\nIcebreaker Introductions: We sho
 uld have a good-sized group and so instead of everyone introducing themsel
 ves to the group we will get to know each other by distributing blank stic
 kers and colored markers and we’ll ask everyone to write down on their sti
 cker: 1). first name. 2). favorite food. 3). dream vacation. Example: “Mic
 hele - Strawberries - Kenya” or “Robert - Chocolate - Tokyo”.\n\nLate Arri
 vals: Catch-up to the group by going to the Riverwalk and heading east tow
 ards Lake Michigan.\n\nWalking Distance: Approximately 2.5 miles roundtrip
  at a moderate pace with several stops along the way.\n\nEnding Point: Nea
