  us for an evening of Warhammer 40\,000 as we get to grips with the brand-
 new edition!\nWhether you’re returning to 40K\, already experimenting with
  the new rules\, or looking to play your first proper game\, this will be 
 a relaxed club night focused on learning\, playing and collectively figuri
 ng out what has changed.\nWe’ll be playing friendly 1\,000-point Incursion
  games and pairing players up on the night\, so there’s no need to arrange
  an opponent beforehand. This isn’t a tournament — questions\, rulebook ch
 ecking and occasional bewilderment are all very much expected!\n\nWhat you
 ’ll need:\nA 1\,000-point army built using the new-edition rules\nall mode
 ls must be built\, but don't worry if they are not painted\; • Your army l
 ist and relevant rules\, either digitally or physically\nDice and measurin
 g tape\nObjective markers\, if you have them\nThe new Core Rules are avail
 able free through Warhammer Community\, and the updated Warhammer 40\,000 
 app includes the new rules and army-building tools\nUse of the GW app is e
 ncouraged\, as we will look to use the 'Connect with your opponent' option
  in.\n\nCancellations\nIf you can’t make it\, please contact the event hos
 t as soon as possible.\nThere will be no cash refunds issued if you cancel
  within 24 hours of the event starting\, but we can defer your booking to 
 another date.\n\nAbout Us\nThe LWG has over 2\,000 active members looking 
 for games and discussing every aspect of the hobby. If you’d like to join
