  people going · good weather for it\n\nWe will start our walk from the sou
 th end of the Roberta Crenshaw bridge located under Mopac (Loop 1) just we
 st of Zilker Park. There is plenty of free parking under the highway south
  of the Colorado River\, which is located along Stratford Drive.\n\nIf you
  are having trouble locating the parking lot\, use the address in your GPS
  for Austin Nature & Science Center at 2389 Stratford Drive. The lot is lo
 cated to the east under the highway.\n\n\\\\Alternate parking can be found
  on the north side of the river at Austin High School. However\, the stree
 t and lot parking are paid parking until 8 pm. The exception is at the gra
 vel lot under the southbound side of Mopac (Loop1) which remains free. Tho
 se that choose this parking option should walk across the walking bridge t
 o find us.\n\nPlease note: We'll meet on the trail at the south end of the
  Roberta Crenshaw walking bridge.\n\nOur walk will cover about 3 to 4 mile
 s in an hour and a half\, walking at a steady pace with a few short breaks
 . The route will be a relatively easy\, flat trail with possibly a few sma
 ll climbs.\n\n\\ As a suggestion\, please consider wearing tennis shoes\, 
 and bringing along water.\n\nAdditionally\, please consider if you are fit
  for this kind of walk\, for your own safety and the consideration of othe
 rs.\n\nIf the weather looks questionable\, please check this site for a ca
