SUMMARY:♫ 7 Mile Walking Music Tour: From Soho To Beatles House With Tunes
 & Drinks
LOCATION:Helterskelter Beatles Cafe
DESCRIPTION:Saved in Palaner as: saved\n\nPalaner match: 38% · why: lots of
people going\n\nIf you love music and fun infused popular culture walks t
hen this will be right up your street! Led by a life long passionate music
fan\, radio & club DJ\, ex Journalist and Musicologist (me!)- we will wal
k hidden historic musical streets littered with fame and showbiz to uncove
r A Day in the Life of the Beatles in London...\n\nYep - we're talkin abou
t those four scousers who wrote and recorded some of the greatest songs ev
er conjured. During this epic Revolutionary 7 mile British musical adventu
re through the heart of London - we''ll discover "memories longer than the
roads that stretch out ahead" as we visit key monumental landmarks that e
ncapsulated their time in London including that world famous iconic zebra
crossing! Of course I share interesting stories as we relive and hear some
of those 227 Magical Mystery songs (get your track requests in!) as we ta
ke that trip down musical memory lane.\n\nIronically the tour will commenc
e at the site of their last ever official live performance. We'll then tak
e The Long And Winding Road down to John's residence\, the gallery where h
e met Yoko\, the church where Paul married Linda\, the recording studio wh
ere Hey Jude was recorded\, pass Ringo's townhouse where Jimi Hendrix live
d and Eleanor Rigby was composed and glimpise George Harrison's favourite
Indian restaurant in Soho.\n\nLater - with a Little Help From Our Friend G
erry Rafferty - we'll pass Baker Street - home to the original Apple recor
ds and expereince landmarks where films like Hard Day's Night were shot. T
hen we''ll swiftly take a relaxing walk passing Lord's cricket ground to t
hose world famous Abbey Road studios where their last few albums were reco
rded including the ground breaking experimental White LP.\n\nOn to Paul's
house - we'll pass the Helter Skelter cafe + lots more! And for fellow ded
icated followers of fashion (yeah I know it's a song from a rival l band!)
  - we'll pop into Stella McCartney's fashion boutique to see if she has an
y Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Clubs uniforms in stock...\n\nTo maximise inter
active engagement\, fun and music love\, I'll dish out random trivia quest
ions (e.g which Beatles song was transmitted by NASA to star system Polari
s to initiate alien contact?)\, jokes and take song requests on the way pl
ay a few From Me To You at key monuments!\n\nLastly we'll learn the histor
y\, meaning and inspiration behind those 227 puzzling Rock and Roll Music
songs. And if you want to know what a particular song/lyrics was about/mea
ning - just ask!\n\nDon't worry - no paid Ticket To Ride needed to aboard
this musical escapade - like all our events - attendance is 100% free - as
long as you are genuinely passionate about music (preferably like Beatles
music!)\n\nMedium to Fast Paced Walk / Fitness Test\nAccept for stops at
key monuments\, this will be a non stop continuous 7 mile "hike" at a medi
um to fast pace so it's advisable to wear trainers/something comfortable t
hough an Old Brown Shoe will suffice as well. Unfortunately\, given the la
rge distance that will be covered in a relatively short time frame (2.5 ho
urs) - if you are a slow walker/impaired or not very fit- this event might
not be appropriate for you. A quick basic fitness test would be - can you
easily run 10 meters fast without any issues?\n\nLastly - I Don't Want To
Spoil The Party but the no go decision is obviously weather dependent so
let's hope it turns out to be a Good Day Sunshine. If any significant or p
rolonged Rain is forecast then we will postpone to a future date.\n\nThe t
our will end in Soho - Central London\n\nThe Fool On The Hill Lucas
