DESCRIPTION:Saved in Palaner as: saved\n\nPalaner match: 18% · why: lots of
  people going\n\nMeet at Craigleith cycle path intersection for 10.15am de
 parture. Approx 30 miles. Not ideal for skinny smooth tyres flowing throug
 h Hopetoun estate.\n\nAfter a pre ride briefing\, we'll head out to Dalmen
 y and South Queensferry via Crammond Brig. Pausing to catch our breathe at
  top of climbs.\n\nWe'll take the old railway path with views of the Forth
  Rail Bridge and\nthen ride under the Forth Forth bridge along the road to
  Hopetoun House estate. Lovely flowing traffic free scenic track - watch o
 ut for the wild life!\n\nWe'll pop out at Blackness and head along to the 
 castle grounds for a PICNIC lunch.\n\nFree access to the castle grounds an
 d toilets. Hot drinks and ice cream on sale at castle shop (no food).\n\nS
 imilar route back to Craigleith\, with slight deviation through South Quee
 nsferry.\n\nPlease unsure your bike is in good working order and carry a s
 pare tube to fit your bike along with any tools required to remove your wh
 eel.
