 orm Workshop\n\nCome study one of the classics of long form improv: The Ha
 rold!\n\nAre you interested in long-form improv? This is an open workshop 
 for intermediate+ improvisors\, so drop-in's welcome! Join this workshop t
 o learn the basics of long-from and experience a variety of long-from form
 ats over the course of the year! We'll be doing 30 minutes of warmups and 
 1.5 hours of scene work\, so this is perfect for intermediate and advanced
  improvisors.\n\nIn this workshop\, we'll be focusing on popular long-form
  structures\, such as The Harold\, The Montage\, The Armando\, as well as 
 others. Meant for students who have some improv experience under their bel
 t\, this workshop is designed to help you sharpen your skills\, unleash yo
 ur creativity\, and have a blast along the way.\n\nNote: You should have a
 ttended at least 10 improv workshops and mastered Yes\, And-ing\, listenin
 g skills\, the 2nd Circle concept\, and have moved beyond blocking other p
 eople's offers. If you're not sure\, just ask Chris if you're ready!\n\nTo
 tal beginners should start with our Wednesday Impro Workshops\, as we won'
 t be covering the basics on Tuesday nights.\n\nKey Learning Points:\n\n1. 
 Teamwork and Support: Long-form improv is all about collaboration. You'll 
 learn the importance of supporting your scene partners\, actively listenin
 g\, and building upon each other's ideas to create cohesive and engaging s
 cenes.\n2. Initiation and Agreement: We'll explore techniques for confiden
 tly initiating scenes and establishing the who\, what\, and where. Learnin
 g to say "yes\, and..." will be emphasized to keep scenes flowing smoothly
  and to avoid blocking.\n3. Character and Relationships: You'll discover h
 ow to develop memorable characters and dynamic relationships on the spot. 
 Through exercises and games\, we'll delve into character creation\, physic
 ality\, and emotional depth.\n4. Game of the Scene: Understanding the game
  of the scene is crucial for finding the comedic and thematic core of your
  scenes. We'll explore how to identify and heighten the unusual or interes
 ting elements within a scene to generate laughs and keep audiences engaged
 .\n5. Edit and Callbacks: Learning when and how to edit scenes gracefully 
 is essential for maintaining momentum in long-form improv. We'll also expl
 ore the power of callbacks to create connections and callbacks throughout 
 the show.\n\nWorkshops are held our black box theater Studio Gokko near Yo
 yogi-Koen and Hatagaya\, close to the restaurant Hoff\, and this 2-hour wo
 rkshop costs ¥3\,000. Bring exact change if you can\, please. And careful
