 !\n\nOur Central Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in whic
 h you can hone your speaking and leadership skills in a friendly atmospher
 e. Our group has 30 members who meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the m
 onth .\n\nGuests are warmly welcomed.\n\nBring a friend\, family member\, 
 colleague or your significant other along.\n\nHere you will learn communic
 ation skills by having the opportunity to complete a wide range of tailore
 d projects (depending on your own personal speaking goals). These include 
 speaking assignments designed to instill a basic foundation\, in public sp
 eaking.\n\nYou will learn skills related to use of gestures\, eye contact\
 , speech organisation and overall delivery.\n\nYou will also learn leaders
 hip skills by taking on various meeting roles and serving as officers at t
 he club and district levels. In our learn-by-doing approach\, we don’t lec
 ture our members about leadership skills\; we offer them responsibilities 
 and invite them to lead.\n\nOffering positive and constructive feedback in
  a safe and supported environment\, is a key to our success. Club members 
 evaluate and give feedback\, on one another’s presentations.\n\nMeeting pa
 rticipants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics\, conduct meetings
  and serve as officers in various leadership roles. They get to learn abou
 t timing\, grammar and expand their vocabulary.\n\nWe have a number of mem
 bers\, who speak English as their second or third language.\n\nOur club ha
 s fun\, in every meeting. We laugh a lot and this is our club culture.\n\n
