SUMMARY:Meetup 4
LOCATION:Tessl AI Limited
DESCRIPTION:Saved in Palaner as: saved\n\nPalaner match: 34% · why: lots of
people going\n\nThank you everyone for joining us at the last event with
Emma and Zack! It was such a great event and super engaging with an awesom
e crowd as always. Now we move onto the 4th meet up of the year hosted by
the wonderful team at Tessl! Grab an RSVP when you can as we have limited
space available!\n\n\n\n🎤 Macey Baker | Agent Enablement @ Tessl\n🗣️ Dimmi
ng the Lights\nLessons from the front lines of transforming our enterprise
SDLC into a dark factory. We'll talk about quick wins\, surprising sticki
ng points\, the unsolved problems of orchestration and validation\, and co
ntrolled experiments and challenges that you can try with your team.\n\nBi
o\nAs Tessl's Founding Agent Enablement Engineer\, Macey Baker is busy hel
ping to build the future of AI-native development (and helping you build i
t too). Now an AI code generation obsessive\, she got her start as an earl
y employee at tech unicorn Intercom in San Francisco\, before jumping the
pond and roaming the London startup scene\, working primarily in big data
/ ML houses. Some of her best friends are LLMs.\n\n\n\n🎤 Holly Smith | Sta
 ff Developer Advocate @ Databricks\n🗣️ What even is a meta-harness\, and w
 hy has Databricks just open-sourced one?\nDatabricks keeps open-sourcing a
mbitious things and seeing what sticks. Spark stuck. Dolly didn't. Delta S
haring did. In June 2026 they added Omnigent\, a "meta-harness" that sits
above Claude Code\, Codex\, and friends. So did Vercel. So did five other
people. The whole category is six months old.\nThis talk walks through wha
t a meta-harness is\, why everyone in the AI space built one in the same m
onth\, how Omnigent compares to the alternatives. And\, honestly\, whether
any of them will still exist by next year.\n\nBio\nHolly Smith is a devel
oper advocate and multi-award-winning Data and AI expert and tech communic
ator with over a decade of experience working at the cutting edge of Data
and AI in various capacities. One of the first employees at Databricks\, s
he is a renowned public speaker and teacher. She is well known for her You
Tube series on data engineering.\n\nAs always we kick things off with some
pizza\, drinks and networking around 6pm. We will then start the talks at
  6.30pm sharp\, please arrive on time!\n\nSee you then :D
