 up for LGBTQiA+ identified persons\, as well as family\, friends\, and all
 ies of LGBTQiA+ people.\n\nWHAT TO EXPECT:\nAttendees participate in a sha
 ring circle where people discuss issues\, ask questions\, offer personal e
 xperiences\, suggest advice and solutions\, etc. Attendees have different 
 journeys and experiences\, which makes for a large fount of useful and ben
 eficial information\, tips\, and advice. You may participate in the discus
 sion\, or just observe: whatever you feel comfortable doing.\n\nEvery meet
 ing is different and you will probably find the discussion interesting. Yo
 u will feel a sense of being connected to others as they share and discuss
  issues. The discussion is moderated by a facilitator to ensure fairness a
 nd to meet the needs of all the attendees. Topics vary by month and by mee
 ting depending upon the needs of those who attend. New attendees almost un
 iversally feel very glad that they attended our support groups.\n\nWhile o
 ur support groups are for the LGBTQiA+ community and their loved ones and 
 allies\, we would also like to encourage significant others of transgender
  and gender diverse loved ones to join our support groups.\n\nNOTE: even t
 hough many of our support group meetings are held in churches\, PFLAG Aust
 in is agnostic with respect to religion. We do not endorse nor discuss rel
 igion in our support groups.\n\nABOUT PFLAG AUSTIN: we are a chapter of a 
 national non-profit organization that provides free\, confidential support
  groups for Austin\, Texas area LGBTQiA+ persons\, along with their family
  and friends. If you\, or someone you care about\, has come out as lesbian
 \, gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, or queer\, then PFLAG Austin meeting is 
 a great place for you to be!
