  people going\n\nRSVP: You must sign up on Meetup for the event. Don’t sho
 w up unannounced or if you’re on the waiting list. Please update your RSVP
  if plans change\, to free up space for others.\n\nSTART TIME: Please arri
 ve by 18:45. Latecomers may be accommodated\, but only if they’ve informed
  us in advance (please post on this event page if you are running late).\n
 \nCHECK-IN: When you arrive\, make sure to check in with the host. This he
 lps us keep track of who’s attending and ensures everyone gets assigned to
  a games table.\n\nEND TIME: Gaming continues until 23:00\, but staying la
 te isn’t mandatory. If you’ll be leaving early\, check the game length wit
 h the table leader.\n\nGAMES: We play a wide range of modern board games. 
 Each table has a leader who explains the rules to players unfamiliar with 
 the game.\n\nTABLE HOSTS: Please do bring board games you’re willing to te
 ach. The more hosts\, the better!\n\nORGANISING TABLES: We usually organis
 e who’s playing what once everyone arrives. Check the Comments section for
  any pre-organised games.\n\nGAMES: We don't play Chess\, Scrabble\, Monop
 oly\, Backgammon\, Quiz Games\, Role-Playing Games\, Magic The Gathering\,
  Mafia\, Werewolf\, etc. as there are other venues or groups for that and 
 we want to make sure that there is enough space for board games. For the s
 ame reason we don't tend to play two-player games.\n\nNEW TO GAMING: If yo
 u are new to gaming please post on the event page to help us allocate you 
 to a suitable gaming table.\n\nNEW TO THIS MEETUP: If you've not been to o
 ne of our events before but have played games in the past\, please help us
  allocate you to a table by letting us know what sort of games you have pl
 ayed and liked before.\n\nLOCATION: We meet in the skittle alley in The Gr
 eyhound on Lodge Causeway\, Fishponds. Ask at the bar if you can’t find us
 .\n\nNO CHARGE: The pub don't charge us to use the skittle alley\, so plea
 se support them by buying food and drinks at the event. Check out the pub'
 s website (https://www.greyhoundfishponds.co.uk/) for details on food and 
 drink (which includes a happy hour for the first part of the evening).\n\n
