 er\, quieter\, and more attractive streets\, where people riding bicycles 
 can get around safely and easily?\n\nBIKEast is the bicycle user group (BU
 G) representing people on bicycles in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney\, stre
 tching from South Head to La Perouse and west to the fringes of Sydney's C
 BD\, Redfern\, Green Square and Mascot. This area covers Woollahra\, Waver
 ley\, Randwick and Bayside councils.\n\nWe lobby local councils\, the Stat
 e Government\, and the Transport agencies to provide better conditions for
  active travel. Our vision is for a high-quality\, connected network of sa
 fe\, convenient and visible bike routes accessed via bike-friendly (low sp
 eed) neighbourhood served by well-designed local bike routes.\n\nAttend a 
 meeting if you want to get involved and help achieve this vision\, or if y
 ou just want to find out who we are and what we do. Everyone is welcome an

 r AGM\n\nInvitation to nominate\nAll positions will be declared as vacated
  at commencement of the 2025 AGM.\nNominees must be current financial memb
 ers of BIKEast.\nNominations may be lodged at the AGM - subject to a mover
  and seconder who are also current financial members of BIKEast.\nPosition
 s are filled by Members voting or by acclamation if not contended.\nThe po
 sitions that must always be filled are:\n1. President\n2. Vice President\n
 3. Secretary\n4. Treasurer\; and\n5. Public Officer\nThere are seven more 
 allowable Office Bearers positions under the BIKEast Constitution\; includ
 ing Advocacy Coordinators for:\n1. City of Sydney Council & Centennial Par
 klands\n2. Randwick City Council & UNSW\n3. Bayside Council\n4. Waverley C
 ouncil\n5. Woollahra Council\n6. Projects (Cycling Without Age\\\, Safe St
 reet Neighbourhoods)\n7. Membership Secretary\nIf a person that wishes to 
 nominate cannot attend the meeting\, please email a nomination or re-nomin
 ation and arrange for a mover and seconder for attendance on the day.
