  is not quite as high as Paccard & Balmat attained 240 years ago\; however
  at 191m / 635ft the hill in the South Downs offers far reaching views ove
 r the Weald and towards the Downs' northern cousins.\n\nThe lunch break at
  Amberley at its foot is in a pretty village with many thatched cottages a
 nd a castle.\n🇬🇧 Amberley\, one of the prettiest villages in Sussex in 4K\
 n\nTRAVEL & WALK DETAILS - Two options\n1. Take the 10.05 train with JAMES
  from London Victoria to PULBOROUGH. Walk starts from Pulborough station a
 t 11.25.\n\n2. For early birds happy to walk in the morning to Amberley at
  a slower pace take the 9.05 train with CHRIS to PULBOROUGH walk start 10.
