  invite you to our games evening on Saturday\, August 15\, 2026\, in the E
 PPENDORF area (near Hoheluftchaussee and "Eppendorfer Weg").\n\n\\\\\\\\\\
 \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\n\nThis g
 ames afternoon is a long-term event and takes place every THIRD Saturday o
 f the month. The next meeting will be on Saturday\, August 15\, 2026\, fro
 m 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (which means about 9 hours of gaming time).\n\nHVV p
 ublic transport connection:\n\nMetrobus 5 is about 300 meters from our gam
 ing location.\nMetrobus 20 and 25 are just one bus stop (+ approx. 300 met
 ers walk) away. Walking time is about 10 minutes.\n\nParking: Residential 
 area.\n\nThe main focus of the games afternoon/evening is on cozy get-toge
 thers and easy-to-explain games. Games that can (often) be explained in un
 der 15 to 20 minutes\, while still offering high levels of fun and replay 
 value for the group.\n\nGames from the categories of family games\, party 
 games\, games for casual players\, and social deduction games.\n\nOn-site\
 , we currently have a permanent collection of around 200 games. In additio
 n\, our guests bring about 50+ of their own games to the afternoons. So\, 
 plenty of variety is guaranteed.\n\nWe welcome sociable\, high-spirited pe
 ople with excellent (positive) social skills and a sense of humor who love
  to laugh. If you want to have a great time with nice people\, meet new fa
 ces\, make new connections\, and expand your social network\, then you've 
 come to the right place.\n\nAbout the meet-up ("house rules"):\n\nWe play 
 in two cozy rooms.\nGood lighting\, plenty of tables we can push together\
 , comfortable chairs!\n\nThe invitation and address will be sent after a p
 ersonal message (so if you are interested\, send a PM to me ( HOLGER ) and
 /or leave a comment!).\n\nRegistration and/or the "waiting list" is only b
 inding after a personal confirmation including the address from the organi
 zer ( Holger )!\n\nUsually\, about 45 visitors attend our games evening\, 
 so it is well-attended.\n\nDue to limited space\, unfortunately not all "g
 uest requests" ("registrations") can be accepted. I kindly ask for your un
 derstanding.\n\nGuests and visitors are more than welcome to bring their o
 wn games! The gamers on-site will then decide what they would like to play
  on the day.\n\nOther organizational details:\n\nIn the future\, a venue c
 ontribution of 2 Euros per guest will be charged for the games meet-up\, a
 s the new rooms unfortunately cost rent.\nA small "donation box" will be s
 et up for this.\n\nBYO ALLOWED! You are welcome to bring your own drinks\,
  food\, and snacks! On-site\, there are small snacks as well as a TEA and 
 COFFEE flat rate\, which is included in the guest contribution.\nOrdering 
 pizza to the venue or similar is possible and allowed ^^\n\nUnfortunately\
 , dogs are NOT allowed to be brought along. This is due to hygiene\, dog a
 llergies\, etc. This is not my decision\, but a rule set by the venue land
 lord.\n\nIf you smoke\, please go outside!\nThe consumption of alcohol is 
 not welcome at the games meet-up!\n\nI (and soon we) look forward to seein
