 n\n🔝 A beautiful high-mountain hike in the Catalan Pyrenees\, reaching one
  of the classic summits of the Ripollès\, with open ridges\, alpine meadow
 s and stunning views over the eastern Pyrenees.\n\nVER LA TRADUCCIÓN AL CA
 STELLANO + ABAJO ⤵️\n\n🥾 The Plan\nWe’ll head to the Ripollès for a beauti
 ful high-mountain hike to the top of Balandrau\, a 2\,585 m summit located
  near Vall de Núria and the upper Ter and Freser valleys.\n\nThe route sta
 rts from the Collet de la Gralla area\, where we’ll park directly on the d
 irt track\, just where the hiking trail begins. The access road is an easy
  dirt track. From there\, we’ll begin a steady ascent through open mountai
 n terrain\, gradually gaining altitude with beautiful views over the surro
 unding valleys and Pyrenean peaks. The landscape is wide\, peaceful and ve
 ry characteristic of this part of the Ripollès: grassy slopes\, open ridge
 s and that special high-mountain feeling without needing a very long appro
 ach.\n\nAs we get closer to the summit\, the route becomes more panoramic.
  Reaching the top of Balandrau is the big reward of the day: a spacious su
 mmit with incredible views over the eastern Pyrenees\, the Vall de Núria a
 rea\, Coma de Vaca\, the Freser valley and the surrounding mountains.\n\nA
 fter enjoying the summit\, we’ll continue the circular route back towards 
 the starting point\, with time to enjoy the views\, take photos and soak i
 n the mountain atmosphere before heading back to Barcelona.\n\nThis is not
  a technically difficult hike in summer conditions\, but it is still a hig
 h-mountain route. The terrain is open and exposed to weather\, so good hik
 ing shoes\, proper clothing and a decent fitness level are required.\n\nGo
 od to know\nBalandrau is one of the classic summits of the Ripollès and ha
 s recently gained extra attention thanks to a film/documentary inspired by
  its mountain history. Our route focuses on the beautiful side of this pea
 k: open ridges\, alpine meadows and panoramic views over the eastern Pyren

 ll pay 20 euros to the driver for gas and tolls. Depending on the weather 
 forecast and temperatures\, we may decide to leave earlier from Barcelona.

 iosa ruta de alta montaña hasta la cima del Balandrau\, una montaña de 2.5
 85 m situada cerca de la Vall de Núria y de las cabeceras de los valles de
 l Ter y del Freser.\n\nLa ruta empieza en la zona del Collet de la Gralla\
 , donde aparcaremos directamente en la pista de tierra\, justo donde comie
 nza el sendero de subida. La pista de acceso es una pista de tierra fácil.
  Desde allí\, empezaremos una subida progresiva por terreno abierto de mon
 taña\, ganando altitud poco a poco mientras disfrutamos de bonitas vistas 
 sobre los valles cercanos y las cimas de los Pirineos. El paisaje es ampli
 o\, tranquilo y muy característico de esta parte del Ripollès: laderas her
 bosas\, crestas abiertas y esa sensación especial de alta montaña sin nece
 sidad de una aproximación muy larga.\n\nA medida que nos acerquemos a la c
 ima\, la ruta se volverá cada vez más panorámica. Llegar a lo alto del Bal
 andrau será la gran recompensa del día: una cima amplia con vistas increíb
 les sobre el Pirineo oriental\, la zona de la Vall de Núria\, Coma de Vaca
 \, el valle del Freser y las montañas de alrededor.\n\nDespués de disfruta
 r de la cima\, seguiremos la ruta circular de vuelta hacia el punto de ini
 cio\, con tiempo para disfrutar de las vistas\, hacer fotos y empaparnos d
 el ambiente de montaña antes de regresar a Barcelona.\n\nNo es una ruta té
 cnicamente difícil en condiciones de verano\, pero sigue siendo una ruta d
 e alta montaña. El terreno es abierto y está expuesto a la meteorología\, 
 así que es necesario llevar buen calzado de montaña\, ropa adecuada y tene
