 year humankind broke free of low earth orbit and circumnavigated the moon 
 for the first time in over five decades\, but did anyone actually care? Mo
 re importantly\, what did the moon landing denialist and conspiracy theori
 st communities have to say about it all? Join us for a critical thinking t
 rip around the mediasphere’s reaction to the Artemis II mission\, with an 
 added side quest to look at the wider state of NASA and space travel in ge
 neral.\n\nBrian Eggo has been running Glasgow Skeptics since 2015\, and is
  part of the Skeptics in the Pub Online team. He has spoken at places such
  as Glasgow Science Centre\, Strathclyde University\, at the International
  Humanist Conference\, and numerous other Skeptics\, Humanist\, and Astron
 omy groups. He also writes for The Skeptic\, and occasionally pops up as a
  guest host on the European Skeptics Podcast. When he’s not busy with skep
 tical activism he passes the time with a day job in training & development

 ugh we will be asking for donations at the end of the talk. Participants a
 re under no obligation whatsoever to donate\, however please rest assured 
 that the money we collect doesn't end up in anyone's pocket - it is used t
 o fund our overhead costs\, and travel/accommodation for our speakers who 
 come from further afield.\, as well as supporting the Free Fringe overall.
