 ame Man's Search for Meaning (1946)\, one of the most influential books of
  the 20th century.\n\nPart memoir\, part reflection\, it asks the question
 : when everything is stripped away\, what keeps a person alive? Frankl's a
 nswer — that we cannot always control our suffering\, but we can always ch
 oose how we face it — emerged from what he witnessed among his fellow pris
 oners\, ordinary people enduring the unimaginable and still finding reason

 difficult. If you don't understand everything\, don't worry\, we will make
