 inks at the Café at Holyrood Palace. Everything we shoot stays on the Mile
  itself. Side streets and closes are fair game\, but shoot from the Mile l
 ooking down them — don’t follow them in.\n\nThe Fringe turns the Royal Mil
 e into one of the most photographed streets in the world for three weeks a
  year. Your challenge is to find something in it that doesn’t look like ev
 eryone else’s shot. The performers\, the crowds\, the chaos — it’s all the
 re. Look for the edges of it: the performer between acts\, the audience me
 mber who isn’t watching\, the poster peeling in the rain. (Though let's ho
 pe it stays dry.)\n\nThis week: everything the Mile has to offer\, especia
 lly (but not only) the festival.\n\nWhere we’ll meet: 1.00pm Edinburgh Cas
 tle entrance — or the car park entrance if access to the Castle gate isn’t
  possible.\n\nWhere we’ll finish: 2.30pm Drinks at the Café at Holyrood Pa
 lace.
