  power running the software we build.\n\nThe power spent running our code 
 comes from the consumption of natural resources in some form.\n\nAs an eng
 ineer\, it can be hard to figure out the best choices to limit your resour
 ce usage as much as possible.\n\nLuckily\, people like Anne Currie have ta
 ken up the mantle of trying to get the numbers straight and give us some a
 reas to focus on when creating the many great solutions that are running o
 ur societies today.\n\nAnne is a co-founder of the Green Software Foundati
 on and has also co-written the O'Reilly book Building Green Software. CNUG
  has been lucky enough to invite her to this meetup in August\, where she 
 will join us on-screen to give us her take on the current challenges we as
  engineers face when trying to lower our carbon emissions as much as possi
 ble.\n\nThe meetup is physical only and will be held in CodeNode’s great c
 onference room at the harbor front in Nordhavnen.\n\nBring your questions 
 for Anne and get them answered at the event.\n\nWe are looking into maybe 
 creating a local discussion panel\, but currently this has not been planne
 d entirely. If this will not be held the event will officially end at 19.0
