 reathtaking views from the final summit. This route follows the Howe Sound
  Crest Trail and the first half consists mostly of gravel paths. Shortly a
 fter passing Christmas Gully\, the path transitions to a more typical hiki
 ng trail with a mix of softer soil\, rocks\, and roots. The elevation incr
 eases consistently throughout the hike. There are no technical sections\, 
 and the trail is well-maintained to accommodate the consistently heavy tra
