 iver\n\nIMPORTANT NOTE: These events will fill up on a regular basis. We m
 ay or may not be able to accommodate everyone on any given weekend\, and t
 here will often be a waiting list on the event. Please be courteous and up
 date your responses if your plans change\, so you're not taking up someone
 's seat.\n\nThe minimum age for a paddler is 14 years old.\n\nThe new memb
 er boat will meet up at the big blue tent in front of the Miami Rowing Clu
 b building\, promptly at the scheduled start time. Our coaches will then g
 o over the basics of dragon boating with you on land\, do some basic stret
 ches and then we will get on the dragon boat and learn by doing! No previo
 us experience is required. Puff provides life vests\, seat cushions and pa
 ddles. We recommend bringing a bottle of water or sport drink\, and wearin
 g sun screen and clothing suitable for exercise and getting wet. Sunglasse
 s\, gloves and hat are worn by most of our paddlers as well but are not re
 quired. Practice lasts roughly 2 hours including land talk\, loading\, and
  putting boats away.\n\nIf you do not see a large number of attendees\, do
 n't worry. Our member's only practice is right before the new member boat 
 and veterans join the practice to teach and encourage you on your first dr

 , you are welcome to join us.\n\nDirections: As you're coming in towards K
 ey Biscayne\, take the double left turn lanes going toward the Marine Stad
 ium. Take a right and go through the big parking lot to the smaller gated 
 lot at the Rowing Club. From the parking lot\, you'll see the blue tent me
 eting area. If you're early and you don't see us\, it's because we're stil
 l on the water from our previous practice.\n\nAlso note that some GPSs wil
 l send you past the entrance\, to U-turn at a traffic light\, and turn int
 o another gate which is locked. This is based on a special event traffic p
 attern that is very rarely in effect. You want to enter by the stadium.\n\
