Kits is a much smaller beach - Usually we try to play at Kitsilano a couple times a year during the less busy part of the season.
Both beaches are so beautiful though with gorgeou s views of the ocean 🌊 mountains 🏔 and sunsets 🌅 !\nHow to find us: When y ou get to the beach\, look for a Canadian flag 🇨🇦 on the wooden volleyball post.
How it works 📋: RSVP to the event. Check in with us at the event to be assigned to the correct court based on your skill-level.\nWe have thes e levels:
1. Beginner/Lower Intermediate 1
2. Lower Intermediate 2
3. Inte rmediate
4. Upper intermediate
5. High-level intermediate
6. Advanced
7. A dvanced 2v2
-sometimes we have a mixed-levels court
~For all levels except the mixed level court\, we may move players around if necessary for the p roper balanced level of play at each net.

Always check-in to ask what court to go to.\nAges of players: Ages 13 + but most of our players are between 20-35 yrs old.
We have a mix of prev ious years players and new players!\nVery important 🙌: Keep your RSVP up-t o-date. Take your name off the list if you aren't coming so we know how ma ny people will be there and to allow people on the wait list to join! Plea se try to be on time\, as we can’t hold courts without enough players ⏰ Bu t feel free to arrive whenever you can\, if you can’t make it on time!\nOt her events besides the drop-ins:

Weather cancellations 🌧: Check the ev ent for updates about 1.5 hrs before if weather forecast is looking rainy as we will make a comment in the event if we need to cancel because of the weather so please check Meetup and keep notifications on.\nIdeas of thing s to bring💡:
• A hat\, sunglasses\, lots of water and light snacks like ju icy fruit or bars
• Sand socks or an old pair of socks are helpful to prot ect your feet when the sand is very hot or cold
•Multiple layers of clothe s to accommodate the weather changing
•A bag/backpack to keep everything f rom getting sandy
•Be careful wearing jewelry as it easily gets lost in th e sand\nQuick extras to notes👍🏼:
•Bathrooms are nearby at the concession s tand. There is a water fountain and outside shower 💧
•Parking is now paid parking at Spanish Banks 🚗
•Please don’t leave any garbage on the beach! L et’s keep the beach clean! You can put bottles and cans beside the garbage bin for someone to pick them up to recycle\nAlso help setting up or takin g down the nets etc is much appreciated! 🙏🏼\nSee you on the beach! 🏖
