  have two talks again!\nIf you are wondering why we are having a meetup at
  the end of August\, it's because Djangocon.US is coming to Chicago! The e
 vent will take place on August 24-28 at Voco Downtown Chicago\, and we wan
 ted to use this opportunity to have a joint event.\nIf you know any Django

  it comes to their application itself\, but often rely on a shared dev DB 
 to actually test code. We'll discuss how you can shift this left so that y

 epeated Quantum Computation? Caching Quantum Simulation Workloads.\n\nTalk
  description\n\nQuantum simulations are often computationally expensive\, 
 yet many\nscientific and engineering workflows repeatedly evaluate identic
 al or\nnearly identical simulation inputs. This talk explores whether Post
 greSQL can serve as a persistent caching layer for these\nworkloads\, allo
 wing previously computed quantum simulation results to\nbe reused instead 
 of recomputed.\nWe’ll look at how PostgreSQL features such as indexing\, J
 SONB\,\ngenerated columns\, and efficient query planning can be leveraged 
 to\nidentify cache hits\, discuss the tradeoffs between storage and\ncompu
 tation\, and examine scenarios where database-backed caching\nprovides mea
 ningful performance improvements. The session will also\ncover cache inval
 idation strategies\, reproducibility considerations\,\nand practical syste
 m design for integrating PostgreSQL into scientific\ncomputing pipelines.\
 nThe talk is intended for developers\, database practitioners\, and\nresea
 rchers interested in using PostgreSQL beyond traditional\ntransactional wo
 rkloads\, demonstrating how it can play a role in\naccelerating computatio
 nal research.\n\nNotes about our new venue.\n\nWe are delighted to have an
  independent venue for the first time since I am hosting the meetups\, and
  hope that this will be our permanent home. And as you all know\, with mor
