 in in August 🎈😊\n\nThe theme for this event is TBD - let me know your idea
 s by comments @thoughtexperimentsinpubs\n\nWe will explore the theme by wa
 y of three thought experiments (tiny stories that raise big questions)\, p
 osted on our substack on the day of the event (more info on how it all wor
 ks below).\n\nWe love meeting in Regents Park because it has lots of beaut
 iful big trees that provide shade during heatwaves\, and shelter during do
 wnpours.\nHere is the EXACT LOCATION and here is a little video showing ho
 w to get there from the Gloucester Gate entrance to Regent's park (more di
 rections below if you need them).\n\n---\n\nThe idea: A chance to meet and
  get straight into meaningful conversations - both deep and light are welc
 ome!\n\nHow we'll do it (timings approximate):\n\n3:00pm - Meet in the par
 k (exact location)\nOrganise ourselves into small groups (3-6ish)\nHave a 
 look at the thought experiments (posted on our Substack on the day of the 
 event).\n3:15pm - First rotation begins - Talk about the first thought exp
 eriment. Feel free to let your conversations flow organically and wander o
 ff topic. If you'd like to bring things back\, you have several 'questions
  to consider' that you can suggest to the group.\n3:40pm - Shuffle: swap g
 roups\, move on to the second thought experiment.\n4:10pm - Shuffle: swap 
 groups\, move on to the third thought experiment.\n4:40pm - Votes! (option
 al\, unscientific votes to get a sense of the group's opinions)\n5:00 - Or
 ganised meetup ‘ends’. Party continues!\n\nNotes on the general atmosphere
 :\n\nThe vibe is to let conversation flow rather than stick strictly to on
 e topic.\nWhile we'd like to talk about 'meaningful things'\, we also see 
 the value in lighter topics\, so don't worry about not being 'deep' enough
 !\nFeel free to suggest ideas for future Thought Experiments in Pubs meetu
 p groups\, both in terms of structure and topics to discuss.\n\nWho should
  come:\nEveryone! We believe that the more perspectives\, the richer the c
 onversation. This group is not about being experts in Philosophy\, it is a
 bout doing philosophy. That is\, bringing our various life experiences and
  lenses on the world to group discussions about the human experience\, the
  nature of reality... etc. etc....\n\nWhat to bring:\n\nSomething to sit o

 ss the lawn\, away from the park entrance\, about 50 meters and you will f
