 R! Milwaukee has a long history of breweries\, going back to the 1800s wit
 h the 3 giants—Miller\, Pabst\, and Schlitz. One is still functioning\, an
 d one exists as a tasting place with a newer brewery down the street! You 
 can either stay the night at a hotel or simply make it a day trip and head
  back on the train that evening\, up to you!\n\nItinerary (subject to chan
 ge)\n10:30 am: Meet at Chicago Union Station\n11:10 am: Leave Chicago Unio
 n Station on Amtrak train 1333\n12:42 pm: Arrive Milwaukee\, get some lunc
 h\, walk around the historic downtown area near Amtrak.\n\n2 pm: Miller Br
 ewery tour. I would recommend getting tickets ahead at https://www.millerb
 rewerytour.com/tour-information because they could fill up. $20 for tour. 
 (Or if you don’t want to do the tour\, they have a beer garden as well and
  I would assume maybe some different beers than their typical.)\n\n3pm ish
 -7ish: Uber to Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery. They have a cute 
 little tavern\, maybe pop in and take a look at what used to be the Pabst 
 Brewery (beautiful historic building.) (htttps://bestplacemilwaukee.com/)\
 n\nWalk to Central Waters\, a huge modern brewery a block away. (https://c
 entralwaters.com/milwaukee-tap-room/)\n\nPilot Brewing company is also in 
 walking distance of this (same as our Pilot here in Chicago)\, it is a par
 lor hall type of place where you can sample beers from a bunch of differen
 t local breweries.\n\n7:00 ish pm: Taxi or walk (30 min) back to Amtrak fo
 r people who are taking the train back.\n\n7:35pm: Amtrak leaves to head b
 ack to Chicago.\n\nAnyone who is staying the night can check into hotels/a
 irBNBs and freshen up and then meet at Lakefront Brewery around 7ish when 
 those who are taking Amtrak head back to the station. This is a huge brewe
 ry on the river\, looks to be very popular and lively at night. They have 
 food as well. They do close at 9.\n\nPlease purchase your own Amtrak ticke
 t(s) and wear comfortable shoes! You will want to bring money for taxis\, 
 as the breweries are a bit spread out and most are like 6-8 min by car. Al
 ways the option to walk if you like!\n\nAlso if anyone would prefer to dri
 ve themselves or lives closer\, feel free to just meet us in Milwaukee!\n\
