 king 💭✍️✂️🎨📖\n\nIN A NUTSHELL\, zine making creates opportunities to:\n\ns
 pend time exploring ideas\nhone in on something you love or care about: a 
 cause\, a message\, a skill\, a place (the possibilities are endless)\nget
  creative with collage\, drawing\, writing\, printmaking (etc.)\nproduce c
 ompelling and unique booklets that you can print cheaply and share with fr
 iends and strangers offline\n\nAfter lots of creative brainstorming of the
 ir own\, Bonny and Ellie have landed on zine making as the perfect way to 
 both open up space for playful\, low stakes creativity\, and focus their m
 inds on bite-sized projects. You will soon be able to see some of their zi
 nes here.\nThey’re excited to share with you!\n\nIN THIS WORKSHOP\, we wil
 l:\n\nIntroduce the practice\nShare some examples: brief history of zine m
 aking\, LessStressPress examples\nGet to know each other’s interests\nBrai
 nstorm using collage and scribbles: get into a low stakes\, creative heads
 pace\nUse a template to plot our zines: 2 covers and 6 pages of content\nD
 esign our first zines (everything is possible with analogue materials\, bu
 t if you love digital design\, bring a laptop)\nSharing circle\nOptional f
 inale:\nVisit the print shop together\nPrint copies of our new zines\nLESS
  STRESS PRESS Pop Up: hand out copies of our new zines to strangers :-)\n\
 nBY THE END OF THE DAY\, we'll have:\n\nlearned a new practice to spark cr
 eativity and clarify thinking\nmet a new group of people and learned about
  the things they care enough to make a zine about\nhad some thought-provok
 ing conversations\nproduced our own original zines\, ready to share :-)\n\
 nNOTES ON THE GENERAL ATMOSPHERE:\nAlthough we’ll be learning a new practi
 ce we'll also be aiming to have an enjoyable day\, with good humour and fu
 n. This will be less like school and more like a relaxed hang out in a caf
 é with an additional creative twist.\n\nWHO SHOULD COME:\nEveryone! We bel
 ieve that the more perspectives\, the richer the experience. This group is
  not about being experts\, it is about thinking creatively together and le
 arning new ways to develop and communicate ideas.\n\nWHERE WE'LL MEET:\nWe
