 found personal and political upheaval.\n\nBritish-born Mexican artist Leon
 ora Carrington (1917–2011) is one of the most celebrated figures associate
 d with Surrealism. She was a painter\, novelist\, and visionary whose sust
 ained enquiry into the psyche informed her interests in mythology\, psycho
