  people going\n\nStart the weekend morning leisurely and meet at the Caffe
  Fiore (3125 NW 85th St\, Seattle\, WA 98117) at 10.00 am to walk down the
  steps to the beach (at about 10.20).\nFrom there\, we'll make a loop arou
 nd the marina\, the fishing pier (10.40)\, to Leif Erikson's statue surrou
 nded by a stone circle (10.50) then circling back to climb up the steps wh
 ile enjoy the PNW greenery on the trail (by the dog park around 11.20). Th
 e final challenge (great cardio exercise) is the last ~ 300 steps up to Ca
 fe Fioré\, ending the hike at about 11.45. Then we may go to Siam Thai at 
 8305 15th Ave NW Seattle or Sopranos Pizza & Pasta at 7729 24th Ave NW\, S
 eattle\, WA 98117 (both within 4-5 minutes drive) for lunch.\n\nAccess\n\n
 Take bus 40 from downtown and walk 15-20 minutes to café Fiore.\nTake bus 
 45 from the U-District\, which stops right outside café Fiore.\nDrive and 
 park anywhere curbside near the cafe.\n\nImportant\n\nYou are responsible 
 for your own safety and expenses during this walk.\nThis route is rated ea
 sy\, but the nearly 300 steps may be challenging for some. Know your abili
 ty before signing up. The loop is ~ 3 miles\; 250 ft elevation gain.\nPet 
 courtesy: Pets are not allowed at the beach but the good thing is our walk
 ing route does not include beach. You can bring them if they are leashed\,
  healthy and friendly. Note that some members (including the host) may be
