SUMMARY:Seattle Business Referral Networking Group
LOCATION:Mechanics Bank
DESCRIPTION:Saved in Palaner as: saved\n\nPalaner match: 4% · why: lots of
 people going\n\nWhat we’re about\nDetails\n\nPlease read before RSVPing: B
uilding a strong network requires genuine interest in others\, active list
ening\, and a willingness to offer help and value in return. 🤝\n\n🎙️ Seatt
le Business Referral presents an exciting and unique way of engaging the b
usiness community and bringing local industry leaders\, of all backgrounds
\, together. We harness the wisdom of the crowd to generate high-quality r
eferrals\, share ideas\, network\, and develop. Most small business owners
and entrepreneurs are tackling very similar challenges around scale\, mar
keting\, finding product-market fit\, and acquiring and retaining customer
 s. This group is your forum to connect with others and level up your think
ing and ideas through qualified referrals and peer-to-peer learning. We fa
cilitate this discussion as a community service and a passion to build and
problem-solve. 💡\n\n🎭 Who Should Join?\nEveryone is welcome! 🎉 We encoura
ge visitors to experience our meetings and see if our community is the rig
ht fit for them. To formally apply for membership\, we ask that you attend
at least three meetings. This allows you to get to know our members and e
xperience the value we offer firsthand.\n\nOne Member Per Industry: We gen
erally limit membership to one representative from each industry. This hel
ps prevent direct competition within the group and encourages a wider rang
e of referrals.\nSpecialization Within an Industry: We understand that the
re can be many different specialties within the same industry. To account
for this\, we do allow more than one member from the same broad industry a
s long as their areas of focus don't overlap. For example\, we could have
two insurance agents\, one specializing in health insurance and another in
life insurance. 🤝\nDiverse Representation: We strive for a diverse group
of business owners from both tech and non-tech industries. This creates a
richer environment for sharing ideas\, networking\, and providing referral
s.\n\n🤝 Membership and Dues\nGuests and visitors are welcome to attend our
meetings free of charge! Once you decide to become a member\, there is a
monthly membership due of $10. This helps us maintain a vibrant and engage
d community and supports group activities and events (like providing coffe
 e! ☕).\n\nWhy These Rules?\nThese guidelines are in place to:\n\nMaximize
Referral Opportunities: By limiting direct competition\, we increase the l
ikelihood that members will refer business to each other. 📈\nFoster Collab
oration: A diverse range of industries creates a more dynamic and supporti
ve environment where members can learn from each other's experiences.\nEns
ure Fairness: Our membership structure allows for flexibility while mainta
ining balance within the group.\n\nWho We Are:\n\nFounders: Already have a
n operating business.\nEmployees: Looking to start up or offer their servi
ces or products to businesses.\nStudents: Who want to start up or explore
a career path.\n\n⚙️ What to Bring:\nAn open mind and curious attitude tow
ards learning and offering your insight. None of us have a chip on the sho
ulder and are humbled by our individual and collective experiences. We don
’t judge your idea or approach and try offering a diverse perspective. Do
expect to be challenged with stimulating conversations with professionals
from a wide background. Share how you can help others and how others can h
elp you. This is a safe space to develop ideas and get feedback from real
people! 👍\n\nℹ️ Event Quick Facts:\n\nSeattle Business Referral is part of
