 ur favourite books and authors.\n\nDo I have to have read the book to atte
 nd?\n\nWe encourage everyone to read the book\, but it’s completely okay i
 f you haven’t! We are a very relaxed group and you won’t be shunned if you
  didn’t get to read it.\n\nWhat books will we be reading?\n\nWe select boo
 ks on a rotating cycle of Fantasy\, Sci-Fi\, and Miscellaneous (which is o
 ften fantasy/sci-fi adjacent).\nThe specific books are selected by a poll.
  The poll is typically open from around 5 weeks ahead of the event\, and i
 s open for about a week. Keep an eye out on the comments section to find a
  link to the poll for this month’s book!\n\nWhen and where do you meet?\n\
 nWe meet on the first Friday of every month in Vapiano’s restaurant in Bri
 sbane city.\nYou’ll usually find us on the upper floor\, and we’ll post in
  the comments which table we’re at. If you can’t find us\, just put a post
  in the comments\, and let us know.\nWe officially start from 6:00pm\, but
  some of us are often there earlier. It’s also okay if you arrive a little
  late. We’re usually there until around 8:00pm.
