 for beginners.\nDo you want to learn beach doubles? Transition your indoor
  skills to the beach? Learn beach specific offense\, defense\, and often a
 rbitrary beach rules? Then join us every Tue!\n\n6-7pm – Learn basic skill
 s on serving\, passing\, setting and hitting. Also review alternatives att
 acks over the net like pokey\, prayer\, tostada and flipper. Also learn ab
 out how to share the court\, communicate with your partner. wind strategie
 s. Record video of yourself and analyze.\n\n7 to 8 – Play beach/sand doubl
 es on a men's and a women's height net.\n\nATTENDEES and RSVPs - We are tr
 ying to build a group of people who attend regularly. The coaching is orga
 nized to build on previous weeks\, so it is preferable to have some regula
 r players. When confirming RSVPs\, I will give preference to previously at
 tendees.\n\nBRING - a phone/device/tripod to record yourself at practice\,
  water\, sunglasses\, bug spray and a beach chair.\nBring a Bluetooth spea
 ker if you have one.\nWe use Spaulding / Mikasa King of the Beach ball (cl
 assic ball) and Wilson AVP ball\, (popular at Carson and local tournaments
 ). Please bring extras if you have them.\n\nBE ON TIME - Warm ups start at
  6 and clinic at 6:15.\n\nCOST - Free. If you want to contribute\, bring w
 ater/energy drink or beer. Or volunteer to coach beginners on Tue!\n\nVIDE
 O REVIEW - Option to record a drill and/or games at every practice. Bring 
 phone and tripod. After practice\, we can discuss your goals\, and how you
 r skills and tactics are achieving them.\n\nCANCEL EARLY - If you cannot a
 ttend\, please cancel 48 hours in advance as I need time to make sure we h
 ave 4 players. If you cancel within this window\, you will be less likely 
 to get invited in the future.\n\nRAIN CANCELLATION - I hate to cancel for 
 rain. If there is hour of playable weather\, I will run practice. See you 
 on the sand!\n\nHELP WITH THE CLINICS - I am always looking for help with

 de of beach house). Go the the southern lot (on right looking at ocean) an
 d we are located to the right where the wooden sidewalk ends.\n\nPARKING/P
 UBLIC TRANS - There are 2 free parking lots (one on each side of beach hou
 se). I get there 45 minutes early and wait for a spot. Some people park on
  Columbia Road and walk across to Carson. Some people park at Boston Teach
 ers Union (not allowed but to my knowledge don't ticket) or nearby Passpor
 t Parking App spots. Accessible via MBTA Red line JFK stop.\nTraffic is te
 rrible and getting worse. Parking is the same. Add in a lot of extra time 
 to make sure you arrive on time. Good luck and look forward to meeting you
