 rk\n\n🔆 In late summer\, the Dahlia Dell in Golden Gate Park becomes one o
 f the most quietly spectacular spots in San Francisco. Hundreds of dahlia 
 varieties bloom in terraced beds — deep reds\, purples\, oranges\, soft pi
 nks — in sizes ranging from tiny pompons to blooms as wide as a dinner pla
 te.\n\nJoin me for a leisurely stroll to savor the Dahlia Dell in peak blo
 om. From there\, it's a five-minute walk to the Hall of Flowers\, where gr
 owers from across California will bring their finest blooms to the annual 
 Dahlia Show. Ribbons are awarded for Best in Show\, People's Choice\, Best
  Arrangement\, Nature's Oddities\, and more. After taking in the prize-win
 ning flowers\, we'll head to an early lunch of Thai fare.\n\n▪︎ PLEASE BRI
 NG CASH for your lunch! They will not give us separate checks.\n▪︎ Meet at
  10:00 am sharp at the western entrance to the Dahlia Dell (near the Conse
 rvatory of Flowers.)\n▪︎ To get there:\nIf driving\, look for street parki
 ng in the Inner Sunset\, near 9th Ave\, and walk to the Dahlia Dell. (Ther
 e's no time limit for street parking on Sundays.)\nOn Muni\, the N-Judah s
 tops at 9th Ave & Irving\, a block from the park entrance.\n▪︎ PLEASE don'
