 ostpone the event!\n\nIn the summer months\, several meetup groups in Amst
 erdam come together to bring everyone together for picnics in the park. Me
 et old friends and make new ones alike.\n\nThis time we'll be hanging out 
 in Noorderpark - the exact location will be announced later. We'll share p
 ictures of the group in the meetup event as well as our Whatsapp group so 
 you can find us on the day.\n\nYou should bring (at your own risk\, keep a
 n eye on your belongings):\n\nFood and drinks for yourself - of course\, i
 f you bring enough to share with others\, you do gain karma points\nWhatev
 er you need to make yourself comfortable\; a blanket\, foldable chair\, la
 yers of clothing...\nEntertainment for yourself or others\; games\, blueto
 oth speakers\, musical instruments...\nA smile and a good mood!\n\nWhat to
  expect from the event:\n\nWe officially start at 15:00\, and it's typical
 ly easier to meet people if you're there early\, but feel free to show up 
 later!\nPeople usually start leaving around dinner time\, 19:00-20:00.\nTh
 ere are usually a total of 60-90 people at the event\, with lots of groups
  mingling.\nThe age group is very diverse\, but most are 25-45 years old.\
 nEnglish is the primarily spoken language\, but feel free to seek out spea
 kers of other languages (maybe practice your Dutch?)\nOrganizers will be t
 here and can help you if you're having a specific issue\, but meetups are 
 ultimately just an opportunity to meet fellow community members and make f
 riends. Put yourself out there and make the best of it yourself!\n\nAs alw
 ays\, reach out to any of the organizers is you are the victim of or notic
 e any inappropriate behavior\, including but not limited to: Sexual harass
 ment\, racism\, sexism\, homophobia. Our events have a zero tolerance poli
 cy for inappropriate behavior\, but we can only act on it if we know about
  it.
