 people going\n\nWe are moving to Mondays starting January 5\, 2026!\n\nWe 
 are so excited to offer an additional in-person writing meetup! We will be
  meeting bi-weekly on Mondays from 7-8:30p pm at Sip & Play in Park Slope 
 at 471 5th Avenue\, Brooklyn\, NY 11215.\n\nWe'll be meeting for an hour a
 nd a half to write our own personal projects\, starting with a 15-minute d
 iscussion\, one hour of collective writing\, and ending with writers encou
 raged - but not required - to share some of their work after the writing p
 ortion of the session. We will give brief reactions to pieces\, including 
 favorite lines/phrases\, questions\, what the piece reminded us of\, and f
 eelings/mood we took away. This will not be a full-on critique session\, b
 ut a low-pressure opportunity to share and discuss our writing!.\n\nIf you
  have a writing project/practice that you'd like to bring in to work on\, 
 please do. If you don't\, that's great too! We will provide a few prompts 
 and exercises to get things started.\n\nSip & Play is Park Slope's first b
 oard game cafe. Their menu includes coffee\, boba\, sandwiches\, and snack
 s! We encourage attendees to help support the cafe by enjoying their food 
 and drink offerings.\n\nTravel to and from Sip & Play with a short walk fr
 om the R train stop at 9th Street\, or take the B63 bus. Sip & Play is loc
 ated at 471 5th Avenue\, between 10th and 11th Streets in Park Slope.\n\nL
