 \\\, August 8\\\, 2026 | 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM\n📍 Judd Foundation / 101 Sprin
 g Street\n101 Spring Street\, New York\, NY 10012\n👥 Limited Group Event\n
💵 Special Social Club Price: $35 Per Member\n\n✨ A Rare SoHo Art\, Archite
cture & Design Experience\n\nJoin us for a very special private group visi
t to 101 Spring Street\, the historic SoHo home and studio of artist Donal
 d Judd.\nThis is not a traditional museum visit.\n101 Spring Street is a p
reserved five-story cast-iron building in the heart of SoHo\, where Donald
  Judd lived\, worked\, collected\, designed\, and permanently installed ar
t\, furniture\, and objects in relation to the architecture of the buildin
g itself.\nIt is one of New York City’s most fascinating hidden cultural s
 paces — part artist’s home\, part studio\, part architectural landmark\, a
nd part living installation.\n\n🎨 Who Was Donald Judd?\n\nDonald Judd was
one of the most important American artists of the 20th century and a centr
al figure in the development of Minimalist art\, although he resisted bein
g confined by that label.\nHis work transformed how people think about art
 \, space\, form\, proportion\, material\, light\, and environment.\nAt 101
Spring Street\, Judd created something extraordinary: a building where ar
t\, architecture\, furniture\, and daily life were carefully arranged as a
complete visual and spatial experience.\nRather than simply hanging art o
n walls\, Judd treated the entire building as an environment.\n\n🏛️ About
101 Spring Street\n\nDonald Judd purchased 101 Spring Street in 1968\, whe
n SoHo was still an industrial neighborhood filled with cast-iron building
s\, lofts\, and artists’ spaces.\nThe building became his New York residen
ce and studio\, and it remains one of the most important preserved artists
’ spaces in the city.\nDuring our visit\, we will move through the buildin
g floor by floor\, seeing how Judd arranged art\, furniture\, architecture
\, and objects in carefully considered relationships.\nThis is a rare oppo
rtunity to experience the actual environment Judd created\, rather than se
eing his work removed from context in a conventional gallery or museum.\n\
n🖼️ What We Will Experience\n\nOur private guided visit will include:\n✨ D
onald Judd’s historic SoHo home and studio\n✨ Five floors of art\, design\
 , architecture\, and living space\n✨ A preserved cast-iron building in the
heart of SoHo\n✨ Works\, furniture\, and objects installed in relation to
the building\n✨ A private group format reserved for our Social Club\n✨ Tw
o guides for our group\, allowing for a more intimate visit\nThe visit off
ers a unique look at the relationship between art and environment\, and ho
w an artist can shape an entire building into a complete creative world.\n
\n👥 Private Group Format\n\nThis will be a private guided visit for our So
cial Club.\nBecause of the size and nature of the building\, our group wil
l be divided into two smaller groups\, each with its own guide. Both group
s will begin at the same time and rotate through the building.\nThis allow
s us to experience the space properly while keeping the visit intimate and
manageable.\n\n💵 Cost and Pricing\n\nThe cost for this event is:\n\n$35 P
er Member\n\nPlease note that this is a private group visit\, not the regu
lar public guided visit.\nThe public guided visit is priced slightly lower
\, but public visits are limited to a very small number of participants an
d are not arranged exclusively for our group.\nOur private visit allows ou
r Social Club to attend together\, with two guides\, a reserved group time
\, and no outside public visitors included in our tour.\nThe actual privat
e group cost quoted to us is $40 per person\, but I am offering this event
to members at $35 per person.\nAs with all paid Social Club events\, paym
ents are nonrefundable unless the event itself is canceled.\n\n⏰ Event Sch
 edule\n\n12:15 PM — Meet outside 101 Spring Street\n12:30 PM — Private gui
ded visit begins\n12:30 PM – 1:45 PM — Guided visit through the building\n
 1:45 PM – 2:00 PM — Wrap-up and departure\nThe Foundation reserves up to 9
0 minutes for the visit.\n\n⚠️ Important Accessibility Note\n\nThis visit
involves moving through a five-story historic building.\nThe guided visit
includes walking up several flights of stairs\, one floor at a time\, with
time spent on each floor before moving to the next level.\nAn elevator is
available for accessibility if needed\, but members should be aware that
this is a historic building and the visit involves vertical movement throu
gh the space.\nBathrooms are located in the sub-basement.\n\n🌟 Why This Ev
ent Is Special\n\nThis is exactly the kind of hidden New York cultural exp
erience that makes our Social Club so special.\nMany people know SoHo for
 shopping\, galleries\, restaurants\, and cast-iron architecture\, but very
few have been inside Donald Judd’s preserved home and studio at 101 Sprin
g Street.\nThis is a chance to step inside a private world of art\, design
\, architecture\, and history — and to experience a landmark space that mo
st New Yorkers have never seen.\nJoin us for a rare and fascinating privat
e visit to one of SoHo’s most important hidden cultural treasures.
