SUMMARY:Dundarave Beach Paddle and Potluck BBQ afterwards

DESCRIPTION:Saved in Palaner as: saved\n\nPalaner match: 25% · why: lots of
  people going\n\nThis event is weather pending and subject to two days can
 cellation notice. We want warm sunny days with minimal winds. If the weath
 er is bad or windy\, the event will be cancelled due to schedule\, safety 
 and tidal changes.\n\nWe will get a picnic table at Dundarave Park and set
  up a canopy. If picnic area is full\, we will set up on the sandy beach.\
 n\nWe plan to launch at around 530 pm. We will do crabbing\, fishing \, an
 d paddling for approximately two hours. We will be paddling West along the
  shore before turning back to our launch site.\n\nIf it's windy\, we might
  cancel the paddle and just have an early dinner.\n\nWe will have a potluc
 k bbq after paddling. The potluck BBQ is only reserved for the paddlers wh
 o sign up for this event.\n\nWe can idle our time away and enjoy the sunse
 t before we pack up.\n\nFor those of you with inflatable boats\, please de
 flate your boats after you are done paddling. The hot sun and an overinfla
 ted boat can lead to future tears.\n\nThe potluck bbq is also open to thos
 e members who recently went to the Lighthouse Park hike and wasn't able to
  the join the main group because of an error in my posting. I have contact
 ed these members directly.\n\nThere is no boat rental at this location so 
 you have to bring your own boat. Your boat must be sufficient to handle oc
 ean water. Members must wear floating devices while paddling. Members must
  stay with the group while paddling.\n\nBy RSVP\, yes\, you agree to the r
 isks in an outside environment. The organizer is not responsible for any i
 njury\, illness or any other liabilities you acquired before\, during or a
 fter the event. We do not tolerate reckless behaviour. We are a group of v
 olunteers and not professional tour guides. As a group of friends and acqu
 aintances\, we will look after one another.\n\nIf you cancel\, please be c
 ourteous and provide 48 hours cancellation notice so people in the wait li
 st can be moved to going.
