  people going\n\nDaniel has offered to run an intro night to Mahjong\, the
  traditional tile-based Chinese game.\n\nDaniel is planning to teach us th
 e version he's most familiar with\, the Japanese variant\, it's a 4 player
  game (we'll match people up on the night).\nIt's something I've always wa
 nted to try (I've played the solitaire version on a computer\, but not wit
 h live players). Should be interesting!\n\nWe'll have a number of sets and
  tables set up to give everybody a chance to play.\n\nThe venue is BYOB\, 
 so bring along your favourite/drinks snacks.\n\nNote: This event is for be
 ginners. If you have played with us before or have a more knowledge of mah
 jong\, then check out our intermediate mahjong player night.
