 you feel safe to create bad art without the fear of judgement. Sometimes w
 e need to let ourselves make garbage art in order to bypass our perfection
 istic tendencies! This group is about combining accessible creativity with
  socialisation and accountability.\n\nThis meetup is specifically for stil
 l life and observational drawing practice. All skill levels are welcome of
  course\, you don’t need to have technical skill\, just a willingness to t
 ry and learn! Paper Moon Coffee House is a beautiful little café with many
  great spots to set up and do some drawing. I will either bring in a still
  life to prop up on a table for us all to attempt to draw\, or we will jus
 t draw the environment around us.\n\nI am a self-taught artist who practic
 es observational drawing often\, so where needed I am happy to offer guida
 nce to anyone looking to improve their practice 😊\n\nThis is a relaxed and
  friendly group who try not take things too seriously. Creativity should b
 e fun and it is my mission to bring that experience to people of all skill
  levels. I believe we are at our best creatively when we feel safe and con
 nected to the people and environment around us\, so it is my hope to hold 
 a space that fosters that connection for all walks of life. If you are int
 roverted\, a bit\nsocially anxious\, and perhaps haven’t been to a meetup 
 before but LOVE to draw\, I encourage you to let this be the meetup you st
 ep out of your comfort zone for.\n\nPlease support this gorgeous venue by

 ary Fee\nThere is a voluntary group attendance fee to help cover the cost 
 of hosting on Meetup. However\, if you genuinely cannot afford to donate\,
  that’s okay! Please still come along for free. It matters to me more to m
 e that you benefit from the meetup\, especially if you can’t afford to lea
 ve the house (I’ve been there). Donation amount is up to you\, $2-$5 per s
