 echnical discussion for everybody interested in the development of Bitcoin
  and the technical\, economic and philosophical implications of it. You do
  not need to be a developer to listen in on\, or even join the discussion\
 , but having a background in IT\, computer systems\, software development 
 or cryptography will be useful. BitDevs is about everything related to Bit
 coin software\, tools\, research\, protocol upgrades (BIPs)\, mining and s
 o on.\n\nSubmissions for topics are encouraged and can be submitted direct
 ly on GitHub. You can expect about a dozen or so topics per month. A short
  round-table discussion will follow each topic with an opportunity for com
 ments and questions.\n\nThis month\, among other topics\, we will discuss 
 the bitcoin node. If you have been on the fence about attending a BneBitDe
 vs\, this might be a good first one to attend.\n\nNo topic is too technica
 l or nuanced to be discussed.\n\nWe do expect some topics to generate disc
 ussion. Opinionated\, thoughtful and respectful reasoning is encouraged. U
 nfortunately\, we do not have time to entertain topics related to other bl
