DESCRIPTION:Saved in Palaner as: saved\n\nPalaner match: 34% · why: lots of
  people going\n\nWe will meet outside the Angel tube station. We will then
  make our way via the scenic Regent's canal and arrive at Victoria park.\n
 En route\, a small detour to see the mosaics in Shepherdess Walk Park\, wh
 ich started as a project funded by Hackney Council to celebrate 2012\, the
  year of the London Olympics.\nA short stop at Sainsbury's in Mare Street 
 for last minute supplies (cold beer) just before we reach our destination.
  We will then pick our spot for the picnic (ideally by the Pagoda)\, so pl
 ease bring a packed lunch.\nFrom here we will make our way to Bethnal Gree
 n station\, this is where the walk ends. Optional visit to the Young V&A m
 useum (free entry)\, formerly known as Museum of Childhood\, at the end of
  the walk.\n\nWhat to bring:\nPacked lunch\nComfortable footwear\nWater\nP
 hoto-taking gadgets and chargers\nAn umbrella just in case (it's London af
 ter all)\n\nThe walk is free for members who have subscribed for an annual
  membership. For other members the fee is £5 cash/card on arrival to contr
 ibute towards the organiser's meetup fees and costs.\n\nThe annual pass op
 tion is £15 payable by cash or card on the day. This will provide access t
 o at least 40 walks per year (members are welcome to bring a guest to each
  event).\n\nAll walks are free for the NHS staff (also welcome to bring a 
 guest).\n\n'No Show' Policy: If the member replied 'yes' but did not atten
 d the event\, did not update the RSVP and did not inform the organiser on 
 3 occasions – this triggers an automatic removal from the group. That's on
 ce for events with a waiting list.
