  people going\n\nThis is a flat 26km ride on wide concrete pathways.\nWe w
 ill accommodate riders who might want to come on a meetup ride for the fir
 st time\, as long as you can do 26 km. This is suitable for all types of b
 ikes\, riding on designated cycle paths\, pace is slow\, suitable for all 
 levels of rider experience and ability.\n(At the end\, some could take the
  option of a very short but slightly more adventurous excursion around con
 ifer grove - narrower paths\, a little bit of metal\, and a wooden walkway
  over the water.)\n\nRIDE DESCRIPTION:\n1. First the short section of bike
 way around Waiata Shores that's on the south side of the Papakura Stream.\
 n2. Down the Southern motorway cycleway as far as the bridge.\n3. The coas
 tal bikeway to Pararekau Island\n4. Around the island.\n5. Down Pararekau 
 Rd to Karaka Harbourside.\n6. Past the picturesque Karaka Lakes reserve.\n
 7. A couple of roads to the new (short) cycleway along the coast.\n9. Lunc
 h at the Evergreen cafe with its lovely view of the estuary (pictured).\n1
 0. Back to the motorway cycle way and back north to the starting point.\n1

 rain we will just re-run on another day.\n- Please bring a spare tube for 
 your particular bike wheel size.\n- We travel at circa 20kph.\n- We have a
  tail end Charlie to make sure riders do not get lost.\n- We are not too f
 ond of leaving people behind.\n- Assistance will be rendered for any mecha
 nical issues but we are not bike mechanics.\n- Please wear Hi Vis for your
  own safety.\n- If you are signed up for the ride but change your mind at
